Olive Baboon
The Olive Baboon is a large primate found in various regions of Africa, particularly in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. They are known for their distinctive olive-colored fur and long, dog-like snouts. Olive Baboons live in troops that can consist of up to 100 individuals, which helps them protect against predators.
These baboons are omnivorous, feeding on a diet that includes fruits, seeds, insects, and small animals. They are highly social animals, exhibiting complex behaviors and communication methods. Their adaptability to different habitats, from savannas to forests, contributes to their widespread presence across the continent.
