Baboon
Baboons are large primates belonging to the genus Papio. They are known for their strong social structures and live in groups called troops. Baboons have long snouts, sharp canine teeth, and a distinctive hairless rear end. They are primarily found in Africa and parts of the Arabian Peninsula, thriving in various habitats, including savannas, woodlands, and mountains.
These animals are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, seeds, insects, and small animals. Baboons are highly intelligent and exhibit complex behaviors, such as using tools and communicating through vocalizations and facial expressions. Their adaptability and social nature make them fascinating subjects for study in the field of primatology.
