Olingos
Olingos are small, nocturnal mammals found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. They belong to the family Procyonidae, which also includes raccoons and coatis. Olingos have a slender body, long tail, and thick fur, typically with a mix of brown and gray colors. They are known for their agility in trees, where they primarily live and search for food.
These animals are primarily frugivorous, meaning they mainly eat fruits, but they also consume insects and small vertebrates. Olingos are solitary creatures and are most active at night. Their unique vocalizations help them communicate with each other in the dense forest environment.
