Olga of Kiev
Olga of Kiev was a prominent ruler of the Kievan Rus' in the 10th century. She became the regent after the death of her husband, Igor of Kiev, and is known for her intelligence and political acumen. Olga was one of the first rulers in the region to adopt Christianity, which later influenced the conversion of the Kievan Rus'.
During her reign, Olga implemented various administrative reforms and sought to strengthen her territory. She is remembered for her diplomatic skills, particularly in her dealings with the Byzantine Empire. Her legacy continues to be celebrated in Ukrainian history.
