Oldsmobile Curved Dash
The Oldsmobile Curved Dash is widely recognized as one of the first mass-produced automobiles in the United States. Introduced in 1901 by Oldsmobile, it featured a distinctive curved dashboard design, which gave the vehicle its name. The car was powered by a single-cylinder engine and could reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour.
This early automobile was built on a lightweight frame and had a simple, open-body design. The Curved Dash was affordable and accessible, making it popular among consumers. Approximately 19,000 units were produced before its discontinuation in 1907, marking a significant milestone in automotive history.
