Oldsmobile
Oldsmobile was an American automobile brand founded in 1897 by Ransom E. Olds. It was one of the oldest car manufacturers in the United States and became known for its innovative engineering and production techniques. Oldsmobile introduced several popular models over the years, including the Oldsmobile Cutlass and Oldsmobile 88.
The brand was part of the General Motors family from 1908 until its discontinuation in 2004. Oldsmobile was recognized for its contributions to automotive technology, such as the introduction of the first mass-produced car with an automatic transmission. Despite its legacy, the brand struggled to compete in the changing automotive market.
