Ohio Senate
The Ohio Senate is the upper chamber of the Ohio General Assembly, which is the state legislature of Ohio. It consists of 33 members who are elected to serve four-year terms. The Senate is responsible for creating and passing state laws, as well as approving the state budget and confirming appointments made by the governor.
Each senator represents a specific district within Ohio, and the Senate works alongside the Ohio House of Representatives to address various issues affecting the state. The leadership of the Senate includes a President and a President Pro Tempore, who help guide legislative priorities and manage the chamber's activities.
