Ogedei Khan
Ogedei Khan was the third son of Genghis Khan and played a significant role in the expansion of the Mongol Empire. Born in 1186, he became the second Great Khan after his father's death in 1227. Ogedei was known for his administrative skills and established a more structured government, which helped manage the vast territories conquered by the Mongols.
Under Ogedei's leadership, the Mongol Empire continued to grow, with successful campaigns in China and Eastern Europe. He also promoted trade and communication across the empire, facilitating the famous Silk Road. Ogedei Khan's reign lasted until his death in 1241, leaving a lasting impact on Mongol history.
