Oblique Projection
Oblique projection is a method of representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions. In this technique, the object is drawn at an angle to the viewing plane, allowing for a more realistic depiction of its depth and dimensions. The most common types of oblique projection are cavalier and cabinet, which differ in how they represent depth.
In oblique projection, the front face of the object is shown in true scale, while the depth is represented at an angle, typically 45 degrees. This approach helps convey the object's shape and size without the complexity of perspective drawing, making it easier to understand for technical illustrations and design purposes.
