OĽaNO
OĽaNO, or Ordinary People and Independent Personalities, is a political party in Slovakia founded in 2011. It aims to represent ordinary citizens and promote transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption measures in government. The party gained significant attention for its grassroots approach and focus on civic engagement.
In the 2020 parliamentary elections, OĽaNO emerged as the leading party, forming a coalition government. Its leader, Igor Matovič, became the Prime Minister. The party's platform includes economic reforms, social justice, and strengthening the rule of law, reflecting its commitment to improving the lives of Slovak citizens.
