Nyugat
Nyugat was a significant literary and cultural movement in Hungary during the early 20th century, primarily from 1908 to 1948. It was associated with a magazine of the same name, founded by Sándor Bródy and László Németh, which aimed to promote modernist ideas and showcase contemporary Hungarian literature.
The movement included prominent writers such as Endre Ady, Mihály Babits, and Zsigmond Móricz, who sought to break away from traditional forms and explore new themes. Nyugat played a crucial role in shaping modern Hungarian literature and fostering a sense of national identity during a time of social and political change.
