Nuclear Bodies
Nuclear bodies are specialized structures found within the cell nucleus that play important roles in various cellular processes. They are not membrane-bound and can vary in size and composition. Examples of nuclear bodies include nucleoli, which are involved in ribosome production, and Cajal bodies, which are associated with the assembly of small nuclear ribonucleoproteins.
These structures are thought to facilitate the organization and regulation of genetic material and RNA processing. Their dynamic nature allows them to respond to cellular needs, such as during cell division or stress responses, highlighting their significance in maintaining cellular function and integrity.
