Norwegian Language
The Norwegian language is a North Germanic language spoken primarily in Norway. It has two official written forms: Bokmål and Nynorsk. Bokmål is more widely used and is influenced by Danish, while Nynorsk is based on rural dialects and was created in the 19th century.
Norwegian is closely related to other Scandinavian languages, such as Swedish and Danish, making it relatively easy for speakers of these languages to understand one another. The language has a rich literary tradition and is known for its unique pronunciation and melodic intonation, reflecting the country's cultural heritage.
