North Korean Propaganda
North Korean propaganda is a systematic effort by the North Korean government to promote its ideology and maintain control over the population. It often portrays the Kim family, particularly Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un, as infallible leaders. The state uses various media, including newspapers, television, and art, to disseminate messages that glorify the regime and demonize perceived enemies, especially the United States and South Korea.
The government also emphasizes themes of self-reliance, known as Juche, and portrays the nation as a stronghold against foreign aggression. Public events, such as parades and mass games, are designed to instill national pride and unity. This propaganda shapes the worldview of citizens, reinforcing loyalty to the state and its leaders.
