North Eastern Kenya
North Eastern Kenya is a region characterized by its arid and semi-arid landscapes, primarily inhabited by pastoral communities. The area is known for its diverse ethnic groups, including the Somali and Borana people, who rely on livestock herding for their livelihoods. The climate is hot and dry, with limited rainfall, making agriculture challenging.
The region is also home to several national parks and reserves, such as Shaba National Reserve, which support wildlife like elephants and giraffes. Despite its harsh environment, North Eastern Kenya has rich cultural traditions and is strategically located near the borders of Somalia and Ethiopia.
