Norn
A Norn is a figure from Norse mythology, often depicted as a female being who controls fate and destiny. There are three primary Norns: Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld. They are associated with the past, present, and future, respectively, and are believed to weave the threads of life for all beings.
Norns reside by the Well of Urd at the base of the world tree, Yggdrasil. They are often portrayed as wise and powerful, influencing the lives of gods and humans alike. Their role emphasizes the importance of fate in Norse culture, highlighting the belief that destiny is predetermined yet can be influenced by actions.
