Norma Talmadge
Norma Talmadge was an American actress and film producer, born on May 2, 1894, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She gained fame during the silent film era in the 1910s and 1920s, becoming one of the most popular stars of her time. Talmadge was known for her beauty and dramatic performances in films such as Smilin' Through and The Eternal City.
In addition to her acting career, Talmadge was a pioneer in the film industry, co-founding the production company Norma Talmadge Film Corporation. She transitioned to sound films but eventually retired from acting in the late 1930s. Talmadge passed away on December 24, 1957.
