Nintoku Tenno
Nintoku Tenno, also known as Emperor Nintoku, was the 16th emperor of Japan, traditionally believed to have reigned from 313 to 399 AD. He is often associated with the Kofun period, a time marked by the construction of large burial mounds called kofun. Nintoku is remembered for his efforts in promoting agriculture and improving the lives of his people.
His tomb, the Daisen Kofun, located in Osaka Prefecture, is one of the largest burial mounds in the world. Nintoku Tenno is also celebrated in Japanese history for his benevolent rule and is often depicted in legends as a wise and just leader who prioritized the welfare of his subjects.
