Nintoku
Nintoku, also known as Nintoku Tenno, was the 16th emperor of Japan, traditionally believed to have reigned during the 5th century. He is often associated with the Kofun period, a time marked by the construction of large burial mounds called kofun. Nintoku is remembered for his efforts in promoting agriculture and improving the lives of his people.
His tomb, the Daisen Kofun, located in Osaka, is one of the largest burial mounds in the world and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nintoku's legacy includes a focus on governance that prioritized the welfare of the populace, reflecting the values of his time.
