Ninety-Third Regiment
The Ninety-Third Regiment, also known as the 93rd Highlanders, was a British Army infantry regiment formed in 1799. It was primarily composed of Scottish soldiers and played a significant role in various military campaigns, including the Crimean War. The regiment was known for its distinctive tartan uniforms and its fierce fighting spirit.
Throughout its history, the Ninety-Third Regiment participated in numerous battles and was recognized for its bravery and discipline. It was eventually amalgamated into the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in 1881, continuing its legacy within the British Army.
