Nilgai
The Nilgai, also known as the blue bull, is the largest antelope species in India. It is characterized by its bluish-gray coat, long legs, and a distinctive white patch on its face. Males are larger than females and have short, curved horns. Nilgais are herbivorous and primarily feed on grasses, leaves, and crops, making them common in agricultural areas.
Nilgais are social animals, often found in small herds. They are known for their agility and speed, which help them evade predators like tigers and leopards. Their population is widespread across the Indian subcontinent, adapting well to various habitats, including grasslands and forests.
