Night Monkeys
Night monkeys, also known as owl monkeys, are small primates native to the forests of Central and South America. They are unique among monkeys for their nocturnal lifestyle, being active at night and resting during the day. Night monkeys have large eyes that help them see well in low light, and they typically weigh between 1.5 to 2.5 kilograms.
These monkeys are social animals, often living in small family groups. They primarily feed on fruits, leaves, and insects, using their strong sense of smell to locate food. Night monkeys communicate through vocalizations and body language, making them fascinating subjects for study in the field of primatology.
