Nigerian government
The Nigerian government operates as a federal republic, consisting of three branches: the executive, legislative, and judicial. The President serves as both the head of state and government, while the National Assembly, made up of the Senate and House of Representatives, creates laws.
Nigeria is divided into 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, where Abuja is located. Each state has its own government, which manages local affairs. The judiciary interprets laws and ensures justice, maintaining a balance of power among the branches to uphold democracy and protect citizens' rights.
