Nigerian Armed Forces
The Nigerian Armed Forces is the military organization responsible for defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nigeria. It consists of three main branches: the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Navy, and the Nigerian Air Force. Each branch has specific roles, including land, sea, and air defense, and they work together to ensure national security.
Established in 1960, the Nigerian Armed Forces have participated in various peacekeeping missions and internal security operations. They are also involved in combating terrorism, particularly in the northeastern region of the country, where they face challenges from groups like Boko Haram.
