Nguyễn Cao Kỳ
Nguyễn Cao Kỳ was a prominent Vietnamese military officer and politician, born on September 8, 1930. He served as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Vietnam from 1965 to 1967 and was known for his role during the Vietnam War. Kỳ was a key figure in the South Vietnam government and was associated with the Vietnamese Air Force, where he held the rank of general.
After the fall of Saigon in 1975, Kỳ fled to the United States, where he became involved in the Vietnamese expatriate community. He later returned to Vietnam in the 2000s, where he was recognized for his contributions to the country. Kỳ passed away on July 23, 2021.
