New Jersey Senate
The New Jersey Senate is the upper house of the New Jersey Legislature, which is responsible for making state laws. It consists of 40 members, each representing a specific district within the state. Senators serve a term of four years and can be re-elected.
The Senate works alongside the lower house, known as the New Jersey General Assembly, to propose, debate, and vote on legislation. The Senate also plays a key role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of New Jersey and overseeing various state agencies and programs.
