Neptuno
Neptuno, or Neptune, is the eighth planet from the Sun in our solar system. It is a gas giant, primarily composed of hydrogen, helium, and methane, which gives it a striking blue color. Neptuno has a diameter of about 49,244 kilometers, making it the fourth largest planet in terms of size. It has a strong magnetic field and experiences extreme weather, including the fastest winds recorded in the solar system.
Neptuno has 14 known moons, with the largest being Triton. Triton is unique because it orbits Neptuno in a retrograde direction, suggesting it may have been captured by the planet's gravity. Neptuno also has a faint ring system, composed of ice particles and dust. The planet was discovered in 1846 and is named after the Roman god of the sea.
