Nepalese Education System
The Nepalese education system is structured into three main levels: primary, secondary, and higher education. Primary education lasts for five years, followed by three years of lower secondary and two years of secondary education. Students typically start school at age five and complete their secondary education by around age 16.
After secondary school, students can pursue higher education at universities and colleges. The system is overseen by the Ministry of Education, which sets policies and guidelines. Education is provided in both public and private institutions, with a growing emphasis on improving quality and access for all students across the country.
