Nawruz
Nawruz is the Persian New Year, celebrated on the vernal equinox, usually around March 21. It marks the beginning of spring and symbolizes renewal and rebirth. This ancient festival has roots in Zoroastrianism and is observed by various cultures across the Middle East and Central Asia, including Iran, Afghanistan, and Kurdish regions.
During Nawruz, families gather to celebrate with special meals, traditional music, and various customs. People often clean their homes, visit friends and family, and set up a Haft-Seen table, which includes seven symbolic items representing health, wealth, and prosperity for the new year.
