National Testing Agency (NTA)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an autonomous organization established by the Government of India in 2017. Its primary role is to conduct entrance examinations for higher education institutions, ensuring a fair and efficient testing process. The NTA aims to reduce the burden on students by organizing various national-level exams under one umbrella.
NTA conducts several important tests, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical admissions. By standardizing the examination process, the NTA helps maintain the quality and integrity of assessments across the country.
