National Forensic League
The National Forensic League (NFL), now known as the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA), is an organization that promotes speech and debate activities in middle and high schools across the United States. Founded in 1925, it aims to enhance students' communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence through competitive events.
The NFL provides resources, training, and opportunities for students to participate in various speech and debate formats, including Lincoln-Douglas debate, public forum debate, and dramatic interpretation. The organization also hosts national tournaments, allowing students to showcase their talents and earn recognition for their achievements in forensics.
