National Flag of Hungary
The National Flag of Hungary consists of three horizontal stripes of red, white, and green. The red stripe is at the top, followed by white in the middle, and green at the bottom. These colors are often associated with the country's history and symbolize strength, faithfulness, and hope, respectively.
The flag was officially adopted in 1957, although its design has roots dating back to the 13th century. The colors are derived from the coat of arms of Hungary, which features a double cross and the Holy Crown, representing the nation's Christian heritage and royal history.
