National Bolshevik Party
The National Bolshevik Party (NBP) was a political movement in Russia founded in 1993 by Eduard Limonov and Alexander Dugin. It combined elements of Bolshevism, a form of communism, with nationalist ideas, advocating for a strong, centralized state and a return to traditional values. The party sought to unite various leftist and nationalist groups under its banner.
The NBP was known for its provocative tactics and controversial positions, often engaging in protests and public demonstrations. It gained a following among youth and disillusioned citizens but faced legal challenges and was eventually banned in 2007. Despite its dissolution, its ideas continue to influence some fringe movements in Russia.
