Naraka Chaturdashi
Naraka Chaturdashi, also known as Choti Diwali, is a Hindu festival celebrated on the 14th day of the lunar month of Kartik. It marks the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Naraka, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. Devotees wake up early, take ritual baths, and perform prayers to cleanse themselves of sins.
The festival is observed with the lighting of lamps and bursting of firecrackers, signifying the arrival of light and joy. Homes are decorated with rangoli and flowers, and sweets are prepared to share with family and friends, enhancing the festive spirit.
