Choti Diwali
Choti Diwali, also known as Naraka Chaturdashi, is celebrated the day before the main festival of Diwali. It marks the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. People often wake up early, take a ritual bath, and light small oil lamps to ward off darkness.
On this day, families decorate their homes with rangoli and diyas, and prepare sweets and snacks. Firecrackers are also a common sight, adding to the festive atmosphere. Choti Diwali sets the stage for the grand celebrations of Diwali, bringing joy and togetherness among loved ones.
