Nantucket Lighthouse
The Nantucket Lighthouse, officially known as the Brant Point Lighthouse, is located on the eastern side of Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. Built in 1746, it is one of the oldest lighthouses in the United States. The lighthouse stands at 26 feet tall and features a distinctive white tower with a red top, guiding ships safely into the harbor.
The Brant Point Lighthouse has undergone several renovations over the years, including the addition of a modern light system. It is an iconic symbol of Nantucket and is accessible to visitors, offering picturesque views of the surrounding area and the Atlantic Ocean.
