Nakajima Ki-43
The Nakajima Ki-43 was a Japanese fighter aircraft used during World War II. It was designed by Nakajima Aircraft Company and first flew in 1939. Known for its agility and lightweight design, the Ki-43 was primarily used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Service in various theaters of the war.
Equipped with a powerful engine, the Ki-43 could reach speeds of around 350 mph. It featured a monoplane design with a low wing configuration, which contributed to its maneuverability. Despite its strengths, the aircraft was vulnerable to enemy fire due to its lack of armor and self-sealing fuel tanks.
