Naga Languages
The Naga languages are a group of languages spoken primarily in the northeastern region of India and parts of Myanmar. They belong to the larger Sino-Tibetan language family and are used by various ethnic groups known as the Naga people. There are around 20 distinct languages within this group, each with its own dialects and variations.
These languages are characterized by their rich phonetic systems and unique grammatical structures. Some of the most widely spoken Naga languages include Ao, Sema, and Lotha. The preservation and promotion of these languages are important for maintaining the cultural identity of the Naga communities.
