Nafud Desert
The Nafud Desert is a large sandy desert located in northern Saudi Arabia. It covers an area of approximately 103,600 square kilometers and is characterized by its red and orange sand dunes, some reaching heights of up to 30 meters. The desert experiences extreme temperatures, with hot summers and cooler winters, and receives very little rainfall throughout the year.
Despite its harsh conditions, the Nafud Desert is home to various wildlife, including sand gazelles and desert foxes.
