NSU Motorenwerke
NSU Motorenwerke was a German automotive manufacturer founded in 1873, originally producing sewing machines. Over the years, it transitioned to manufacturing motorcycles and later automobiles, becoming one of the largest motorcycle producers in the early 20th century.
The company is known for its innovative designs, including the NSU Quickly scooter and the NSU Ro 80, a pioneering rotary engine car. In 1969, NSU merged with Volkswagen, and its legacy continues through the Audi brand, which is part of the Volkswagen Group today.
