NGC_2168
NGC_2168, also known as the Lemonade Cluster, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Gemini. It is approximately 1,000 light-years away from Earth and contains around 50 stars. The cluster is estimated to be about 100 million years old.
Discovered by William Herschel in 1786, NGC_2168 is notable for its relatively bright stars, making it a popular target for amateur astronomers. The cluster spans about 20 light-years across and is best observed with binoculars or small telescopes, especially during winter months in the Northern Hemisphere.
