Messier 35
Messier 35 (M35) is an open star cluster located in the constellation Gemini. It is approximately 2,800 light-years away from Earth and contains around 200 stars. The cluster is estimated to be about 100 million years old, making it relatively young in astronomical terms.
M35 is notable for its bright and colorful stars, which can be observed with binoculars or small telescopes. The cluster spans about 24 light-years across and is best viewed during the winter months in the Northern Hemisphere. Its proximity to the bright star Castor makes it easier to locate in the night sky.
