NGC 7339
NGC 7339 is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 50 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. It was discovered by the astronomer Édouard Stephan in 1880 and is part of the Hubble Sequence of galaxy classifications.
This galaxy has a diameter of about 100,000 light-years and contains a significant number of stars, gas, and dust. NGC 7339 is notable for its bright central bar structure, which is characteristic of barred spiral galaxies, and it is often studied to understand galaxy formation and evolution.
