NGC 6913
NGC 6913 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Cygnus. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1788 and is approximately 5,000 light-years away from Earth. The cluster contains several bright stars and is known for its relatively young age, estimated to be around 10 million years.
This star cluster is part of a larger region of space rich in stellar formation. NGC 6913 is often studied by astronomers to understand the processes of star formation and the dynamics of star clusters. Its position in the Milky Way makes it an interesting target for both amateur and professional astronomers.
