NGC 6541
NGC 6541 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Scorpius. It is approximately 22,000 light-years away from Earth and is estimated to be around 13 billion years old, making it one of the older clusters in our galaxy, the Milky Way.
This cluster contains hundreds of thousands of stars, tightly packed together due to their mutual gravitational attraction. NGC 6541 is notable for its relatively low metallicity, indicating that it formed early in the universe's history when fewer heavy elements were available.
