NGC 6093
NGC 6093, also known as M80, is a globular cluster located in the constellation Scorpius. It is approximately 32,600 light-years away from Earth and contains hundreds of thousands of stars. This cluster is notable for its high density of stars, making it one of the more compact globular clusters in our galaxy.
Discovered by Charles Messier in 1781, NGC 6093 has an apparent magnitude of about 7.2, making it visible through small telescopes. It is estimated to be around 12 billion years old, providing valuable insights into the early formation of the Milky Way galaxy.
