NGC 4618
NGC 4618 is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 7 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is part of the Virgo II Group of galaxies and is often referred to as the "Whirlpool Galaxy's little sister" due to its similar structure.
This galaxy has a diameter of about 30,000 light-years and is notable for its bright, blue star clusters and regions of active star formation. NGC 4618 is also interacting with its neighbor, NGC 4625, which influences its shape and star formation activity.
