NGC 362
NGC 362 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Tucana. It is approximately 30,000 light-years away from Earth and is part of the Milky Way galaxy. This cluster contains a large number of stars, estimated to be around 100,000, and is known for its dense core.
Discovered by James Dunlop in 1826, NGC 362 is notable for its bright appearance and is often studied by astronomers. It is classified as a type II globular cluster, which means it has a relatively high concentration of stars in its center. Its age is estimated to be around 11 billion years.
