NGC 1908
NGC 1908 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Lepus. It was discovered by the astronomer William Herschel in 1785 and is situated approximately 1,200 light-years away from Earth. The cluster contains several bright stars and is estimated to be around 200 million years old.
The cluster is relatively small, with a diameter of about 10 light-years. It is best observed with binoculars or small telescopes, appearing as a faint patch of light in the night sky. NGC 1908 is often studied to understand the formation and evolution of star clusters.
