NGC 1893
NGC 1893 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is situated approximately 10,000 light-years away from Earth and is part of the larger IC 410 nebula. The cluster contains several young, hot stars that are still in the process of formation, making it an interesting subject for astronomers studying stellar evolution.
Discovered by William Herschel in 1786, NGC 1893 is notable for its bright, blue stars that illuminate the surrounding gas and dust. The cluster is estimated to be around 5 million years old, showcasing a dynamic environment where new stars are born and evolve rapidly.
